Purpose of the role:
The Restaurant Manager at The Burman Hotel restaurants is a key position responsible for ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests. Reporting to the Head of Food & Beverages, this role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, overseeing staff training, maintaining high service and cleanliness standards, and collaborating with the culinary team. The Restaurant Manager is crucial in upholding the restaurant's reputation for excellence and works closely with all departments to achieve this goal.

Your responsibilities will be:
- Ensure a warm and welcoming environment for guests, consistently exceeding their expectations.
- Oversee the training and development of staff to deliver polished, attentive, and personalized room service.
- Manage daily room service operations, including order processing, delivery, and guest interactions.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation in the room service area.
- Recruit, train, and supervise room service staff, including attendants and support staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to high-end service standards and uphold the quality of food and service in-room dining.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall aesthetics in the room service area.
- Collaborate with the Head of Food and Beverages and the Executive Chef to manage room service inventory and budget effectively.
- Implement cost control measures while maintaining the highest standards of service and cuisine.
- Oversee the room service ordering system, optimizing delivery times and ensuring efficient service.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or special requests related to room service orders.
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication between the kitchen and room service.
- Collaborate on menu changes, special requests, and promotions to enhance the in-room dining experience.
- Provide ongoing training to staff on menu knowledge, service standards, and customer engagement.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and professional growth in room service operations.
What we expect from you:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-end dining environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on staff development.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Estonian is a strong advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in reservation systems and point-of-sale software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the culinary team and other departments.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the food and beverage industry.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the complex.
