Learning & Development Specialist
Join us and shape the way our people learn, grow, and thrive in hospitality and entertainment
Bombay is a collection of entertainment and hospitality brands, crafted to deliver luxury in every detail – from our exquisite facilities to our personalised service and the unique stories we inspire. Located in the heart of Tallinn, Bombay redefines luxury VIP experiences with its exclusive casino club, boutique hotel, restaurants, bars, spa, and bakery, embodying the spirit of elegance and refinement.
Purpose of the role:
We’re looking for our first-ever Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to build, drive, and shape our learning strategy at Bombay. This is a unique opportunity to design impactful training programs, create resources, and foster a culture of continuous growth.
How you will contribute:
- Strategic planning: align training programs with business goals to enhance key skills. Build a culture of continuous learning to drive employee engagement and innovation.
- Content curation and management: curate or create diverse learning materials (videos, articles, e-learning modules). Organize and manage learning resources in a centralized system for easy access.
- Collaboration with other departments: work with department heads to design learning solutions tailored to team needs. Collaborate with the People Team on comprehensive onboarding programs.
- Coaching and mentorship programs: provide one-on-one coaching to support career development. Design leadership training programs to identify and nurture future leaders.
- Managing budgets and resources: manage the L&D budget, sourcing cost-effective learning tools and vendors. Leverage technology (LMS, gamification, AI tools) to enhance learning experiences.
What we are looking for:
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar L&D role with hands-on responsibility for key tasks. While you don’t need to be an expert in everything, practical experience and familiarity with the following topics will help you succeed in this role.
- Experience designing and running learning programs that support real business needs.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and find solutions without needing step-by-step guidance.
- Skilled at creating or sourcing effective learning content across formats (e-learning, video, presentations).
- Proficient in using and managing Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Confident in facilitating engaging training sessions and workshops.
- Competence in using feedback and data to assess training effectiveness and make improvements.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with different teams and roles.
- Clear and confident communicator, both in person and virtually.
- Familiarity with digital tools for virtual and remote learning.
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments and managing multiple projects.
- Fluency in Estonian and English.
The team by your side:
You’ll be part of Bombay’s People Team, working alongside our Head of People, People Partners, People Operations Specialist, Office Coordinators, Talent Acquisition Lead, and Recruiter. You'll have strong support during your onboarding and day-to-day work, with lots of collaboration across the team.
On a daily basis, you’ll also work closely with a wide range of stakeholders from our casino, hospitality, office, and other teams, making your role both dynamic and well-connected to the heart of the business. We’re already close to 400 people across the Bombay Group — and we keep growing.
Why join Bombay?
