Purpose of the role:

The Room Service Attendant at The Burman Hotel is responsible for delivering exceptional in-room dining experiences for guests, ensuring that all orders are delivered promptly and presented to the highest standards. Reporting to the Restaurant Floor Manager, this role requires excellent customer service skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests.

Estimated start date: January/February 2025 

Your responsibilities will be: 

• Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all orders are accurately presented and meet the hotel’s high-quality standards.
• Set up in-room dining trays and trolleys meticulously, including all necessary items.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries regarding room service with courtesy and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the room service station and pantry.
• Collect used trays and dishes from guest rooms and corridors, ensuring cleanliness.
• Report guest feedback or issues to the Restaurant Floor Manager for prompt resolution.
• Assist with other food and beverage services as needed, including restaurant duties during off-peak times.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in food and beverage handling and delivery.
• Represent The Burman Hotel with a professional appearance and demeanor.

What we expect from you:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on VIP customers.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Estonian is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail in the preparation and delivery of room service orders.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including carrying trays and moving trolleys.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
