Purpose of the role:
We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join our central pastry team, which is responsible for creating refined desserts and sweet preparations for all Bombay restaurants, as well as contributing to breakfast and room service menus.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with creativity, delivering consistently elegant desserts that complement the unique character of each Bombay dining concept.
How you will contribute:
- Prepare, and present high-quality desserts and pastry items for all Bombay restaurants.
- Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef and colleagues to design innovative menus reflecting each venue’s concept.
- Ensure consistency of taste, texture, and presentation across all pastry offerings.
- Manage daily mise en place, portioning, and inventory within the pastry section.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times (HACCP knowledge required).
- Stay updated with global pastry trends, techniques, and presentations.
- Work efficiently during service periods to deliver desserts on time and to standard.
- Keep the pastry kitchen clean, organised, and equipment properly maintained.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a (Pastry) Chef de Partie or in a similar role, ideally in luxury hotels, high-end restaurants, or fine dining environments.
- Culinary or pastry qualification is an advantage.
- Passion for desserts and pastries, with creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with flexibility to support multiple outlets.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP knowledge).
- Physical stamina to work long shifts in a busy kitchen environment.
- Medical Certificate for food operators required.
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years

You will be working in a team of four, alongside Pastry Chefs and Chef de Parties.
